Why it’s dangerous

• Can cause sudden whiteout — you can lose visibility within seconds.
• Creates snow drifts that can block roads.
• Often hides ice underneath.
• Conditions can change very quickly.

What to do

• Slow down immediately.
• Keep both hands on the steering wheel.
• Keep a safe distance from other vehicles.
• If visibility becomes too poor, pull over safely and wait.
